Paul Walker - Founder
Paul Walker graduated from the University of Leeds in the UK with a degree in Zoology. He is Co-director of Wildtracks, and directs the wildlife rehabilitation activities and subsequent releases. Previous wildlife experience includes wildlife rehabilitation from an early age, care of sanctuary primates in the UK, involvement in the initial rehabilitation of chimpanzees in Spain and planning for their release in the Ivory Coast, and postgraduate research on tropical amphibian ecology. Research publication spread from amphibian ecology, species assessments, to forest structure and carbon storage, biodiversity and protected area planning.
Zoe Walker - Founder
Zoe Walker graduated from University of Leeds with a degree in Ecology. She is director of the Wildtracks Conservation Planning Unit and works with both Government and non-government agencies towards strengthening Belize’s National Protected Areas System, as well as threatened species conservation and management. Zoe is renowned as a leader in inclusive participatory processes in conservation planning and assessments. She has led many national and site level conservation planning initiatives, resulting in outputs ranging from protected area management plans for more than 30 of Belize's protected areas to Belize's National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.
Kyra Dixon - Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager
Kyra Dixon is the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager at Wildtracks. She is responsible for managing the primate and manatee Rehabilitation teams, with day-to-day oversight of both the animals and volunteers. She also handles critical care for primate infants and ongoing health check-ups through regular fecal testing. Originally from Toronto in Canada, she first volunteered at Wildtracks in 2017, and is now a Belize resident, She graduated from Sheridan College with a degree in Animal Care, including Wildlife Management, Domestic and Exotic Animal Science and Clinical Operations - and a life long dream to work with primates.
Molly Reeve - Executive Director
Molly Reeve graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Biomedical Science, and has gone on to complete a Masters in Conservation Medicine at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She has extensive international experience in Belize, Tanzania, Thailand, Indonesia and Hawaii regarding human-wildlife conflict, zoonotic disease transmission, implementing community based conservation programs as well as performing stake holder analyses, and combatting the illegal wildlife trade.
Tom Reeve - Board Member
Tom Reeve is a seasoned business executive who has spent the past 15 years planning, analyzing and executing complex business mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive board and environmental advocacy experience and brings his transactional skills and discipline to drive project execution and management at Wildtracks.
John Zimmerman - Board Member
John Zimmerman currently serves as a senior advisor to a private equity firm and prior to that was the Chief Financial Officer at a publicly traded international corporation. John brings keen financial discipline and invaluable strategic insight to Wildtracks. He is committed to financial transparency and serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards. John's passion for excellence helps ensure that Wildtracks projects are closely managed and that donor dollars are deployed efficiently.
